SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Neighborhood
Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.
SASSA will be rendering companies which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed in regards to the higher range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area regularly. The support place produced for intervention encounters a significant inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for sassa status check the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra resources to allow the servicing of all shoppers and maximize access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
